Editorial policy

Global Story House aims to make thoughtful, readable work about stories and the ways they travel. We distinguish what a text does from what we think it may mean, and we do not present interpretation as settled fact.

Accuracy and care

We check names, terminology and factual claims before publication, and make clear when an article offers an interpretation rather than a verifiable fact. Discussions of cultural traditions should be specific and careful: we avoid treating a community, language or tradition as uniform, and we do not claim authority we do not have.

Independence and partnerships

Editorial decisions remain separate from commercial arrangements. Paid or partner material is clearly labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial coverage. A partnership does not guarantee favourable coverage, and we do not imply endorsement simply because a collaboration appears on the site.

Corrections and illustrations

If you spot a factual error or a misleading omission, contact us with the article and the detail in question. We review credible correction requests and amend material when warranted. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; where used, they are identified as illustrative and are not presented as documentary evidence.
